Consultations with Suzanne Clothier are a great way to
learn more about her holistic Relationship Based Approach to Training, a humane,
sensible approach that puts the dog/human relationship at the heart of all she
does. With over 25 years of
professional training experience, Suzanne is widely sought for
advice on a broad range of topics ranging from aggression to puppy testing to physical
& behavioral issues. She welcomes the opportunity to help you understand your
dog, resolve problems & enhance performance in a humane fashion.
PHONE CONSULTATIONS
Telephone consultations with Suzanne are a great way to discuss
at length any problems or concerns you may have, whether performance problems,
the canine athlete, puppy problems, aggression or handling the unruly
dog. Phone consultations are perfect for folks too far for in-person
visits, and for problems that don't require hands-on assessment, or to get
advice & referrals to trainers in your area.
Phone consultation fees: $50/half hour;
$90/hour.

time!); payment is by MC/Visa or check.
NOTE: Suzanne's travel schedule sometimes makes it
difficult to book appointments. At such times, her phone consults are

worked with Suzanne for more than 15 years.
IN-PERSON
Consultations
In-person
consultations offer the most intense learning experience with Suzanne.
Whether you've enjoyed her writings or had the pleasure of attending her
seminars, in-person consultations give you Suzanne's undivided attention, and a
wealth of expertise at your service. There is no substitute for
one-on-one, hands-on work with you and your dog.
Here's some of the reasons folks choose an in-person
consultation:

Each consultation lasts 1.5 -2 hours, and you may bring multiple dogs. Videotaping & audio-taping permitted
(so bring a friend along!)
Initial consultation: $300.00
Follow-up visits: $125.00 per hour
Our farm is located in central upstate NY, between Albany &
Syracuse, and 20 minutes from NY State Thruway exits. It is a lovely drive
from anywhere, and our scenic farm is a perfect place to work on enhancing your
relationship with your dog. Overnight accommodations maybe available

THE DEN - A Training
Retreat at Hawks Hunt Farm
The Den offers comfortable, dog friendly accommodations for clients who
wish to stay overnight (or longer) and train with Suzanne over several sessions
while also enjoying a relaxing, peaceful retreat in a beautiful setting
overlooking rolling fields & hemlock woods. This is a fully furnished
home with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths (one with large garden tub for soaking), wood
burning fireplace, and a complete kitchen, plus a small deck and ramp leading to
a large
fenced in yard for your dog's safety & enjoyment.
The Den is available to individuals or small groups who
wish to train with Suzanne over a short period. We are also planning
intensive weekend workshops for very small groups of trainers who wish to study
with Suzanne, and learn more about her holistic, relationship based approach to
dogs & dog training.

VIDEO CONSULTATIONS
Video consultations are ideal for having Suzanne assess your dog
as a canine athlete. Using her deservedly famous eye for gait &
structure analysis, Suzanne can help you understand your dog's athletic
strengths, how his limitations (if any) are contributing to his performance
problems, recommended exercises, and a detailed analysis of the dog's
movement.
