Even though there's increasingly less room at the milk bar, Bee's one happy mom! Loves her pups and takes superb care of them. |

Family Affair
To the extent that Bee allows, Ruby (left, 3 yrs old) and Rain (1 year old) spend time fussing over the pups, cleaning them, and sometimes just watching with the fondest look on their faces. They are now allowed to climb into the box at times. |

On the go!
When they're born, a 4x4' box seems huge. At 17 days old, ten pups all moving about makes it seem just too small. |

Always changing
At 18 days old, the changes in the head and body of each pup is nothing short of amazing. |

Let the games begin!
Around day 17, some began wagging their tails, and the first stirrings of play can be seen. Here, at 19 days old, the pups are beginning to do a little jaw sparring and smacking each other with their feet. |

The Universe Doubles Instantly
Or at least it does for these pups. Since they nearly climbed (fell!) out of the whelping box, it was time to open the box to give them more room to roam. Now they get to negotiate a small step up or down between the whelping box (behind Bee) & their new space - about 32 sq. feet total, with good footing and warm blankets everywhere. |
